Future: Will

There is no single form used as the future tense. We can use will plus the base form of the verb to give or ask for information about the future and to talk about possible future actions when we make promises,request or threats. We usually use contracted forms after pronouns (´ll) or in negatives ( won´t) unless we are being formal or emphatic.

The future is expressed with will and the simple form of the verb. The contracted forms are generally used.

I will go----I´ll go               we will go------we´ll go
you will go---you´ll go        you will go-----you´ll go

he will go---he´ll go        }
she will go---she´ll go      } they will go----they´ll go
it will go -----it´ll go        }

Negatives with will

Place not after will  to form a negative statement. The contracted form of will not is won´t.

I will not stop----I won´t stop
you will not stop-----you won´t stop
he will not stop----he won´t stop           }
she will not stop----she won´t stop         } they will not stop-----they won´t stop
it will not stop-----it won´t stop             }
